England - Peak District to Yorkshire Dales

Lyme Park is quite high being in the Peak District, so spring bulbs often flower later than expected. It is in summer that the gardens are at their brightest and most colourful. There are usually new additions in the rose garden each year and the perennials planted in the Italian garden are in full flower.
